Position Overview:Role: Youth Care Worker
(Available in Full-time, Part-time, and Casual capacities)
Are you a positive and influential role model?

In these Youth & Community Services roles, the ideal candidate will possess:
- A willingness and ability to engage with vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of community services and available resources.
- Experience working with Aboriginal communities and groups.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including report writing.
- Ability to provide conflict resolution and crisis support.
- Experience in assisting with daily living skills and advocating for clients.
- Skills in coordinating internal and external resources.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education in a relevant field (such as Social Services, First Nations Studies, Criminology, Psychology, etc.) along with 1-2 years of experience working with youth; or a combination of education and experience.
- A Class 5 Driver's License with a commitment to obtain an unrestricted Class 4 license within 3 months of hire.
- Certifications in First Aid, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (NVCI, CPI), Suicide Intervention, and Food Safe; or the willingness to obtain these certifications within 3 months of hire.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal record check.
- Compensation: $25.94/hr. - $31.51/hr. based on qualifications and experience (night shift premium included).
