At Kraken, we're revolutionizing the world of finance with cutting-edge data analytics. As a Senior Finance Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build dynamic data visualizations to inform management decisions
  • Perform in-depth data analysis and investigation to drive finance use cases
  • Ensure high data quality, integrity, and auditability in data analysis and reporting
  • Design and deploy scalable data pipelines to collect, transform, and load data from internal systems and databases
  • Augment platform data with data pipelines from select external and internal systems
  • Support the design and deployment of a finance data lake as the central source of truth for finance functions reporting and analysis needs
  • Develop automation to drive data solutions to near real-time
  • Evaluate new technologies and build prototypes for continuous improvements in finance data analytics operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Computer Science or MIS with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with data warehouse technologies and relevant data modeling best practices
  • Experience with finance operations, management reporting, and regulatory reporting
  • Proficient with data wrangling tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, etc.)
  • Proficient with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Proficient working with APIs and data querying languages for data modeling and analysis
  • Working knowledge of project and workstream management tools such as Wrike, Confluence, Jira
  • Experience with writing business requirements and technical documentation
  • Experience in fintech or banking industry is preferred
