We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Plaza Ontario Marble and Tile Incorporated. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
- Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites to prepare the ground for construction.
- Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
- Attention to detail to ensure that construction tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Dependability and reliability to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing construction schedules and priorities.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be exposed to confined spaces, noise, and dust, and will be required to work at heights and in a variety of weather conditions.
