Job Title: Senior ROV Pilot Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ROV Pilot Technician to join our team at DOF Subsea Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) in various offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain ROV systems in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the Operational ROV Supervisor, including maintenance, repair, and preparation of ROVs.
  • Ensure adherence to DOF Subsea's Personal Record of Competence and implement Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment requirements.
  • Participate in projects and complete tasks as required, adhering to guidance and instructions outlined in the Business Management System.
  • Perform assigned work tasks as directed, paying special attention to ROV operation and instruction.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience with work class ROV systems.
  • Post-secondary education with a primary focus in ROV, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical, or related fields.
  • Working knowledge of Technical Specifications and Standards within the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Schilling/XLX experience considered an asset.
  • Level of technical knowledge in computer and electronic interfacing.
  • Experience with technical testing and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent communicator including language proficiency (reading/writing).
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
