As the Vice President, Indigenous Health, you will play a pivotal role in driving systemic change within our healthcare system. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in advancing health equity, promoting cultural safety, and fostering meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities.
Your Impact:- Lead the evolution of VCH's Indigenous cultural safety education initiatives.
- Champion the organization's commitment to relevant legislation, including the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA).
- Integrate the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), particularly those related to Indigenous health, into VCH's operations.
- Represent VCH in regional, provincial, and national forums to advocate for Indigenous health and reconciliation.
You are a passionate advocate for Indigenous health with a deep understanding of the unique needs and perspectives of Indigenous communities. Your leadership style is collaborative, innovative, and grounded in community engagement. You possess strong strategic thinking skills and a proven track record of driving positive change within complex organizations.
