We're seeking a detail-oriented English Localization QA Tester to join our team at Amber. As a key member of our QA team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our localized content.
Key Responsibilities- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in English (UK)
- Identify and report translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Native-level language competency in English (UK)
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Starting salary set at 17 CAD/hour
