We are currently on the lookout for a Manufacturing Engineer to become a vital part of our team.

Role Summary

This position involves executing professional engineering and scientific tasks that possess a fundamental level of complexity. The role requires applying basic engineering and scientific principles to tackle assigned challenges. The engineer will leverage their expertise to manage a diverse range of technical assignments within the company's technical staff.

Key Duties
  1. Conducts routine investigations or tests related to the creation of new designs, methodologies, materials, or processes, while exploring potential applications of findings based on specialized training and experience.
  2. Gathers, correlates, and evaluates technical data necessary for completing assigned responsibilities.
  3. Prepares comprehensive reports, charts, graphs, and other documentation, providing recommendations to senior management.
  4. Originates and develops designs for various products, processes, components, or equipment that require moderate complexity analysis.
Essential Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
  2. 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  3. Familiarity with ISO-9001 Quality Management System and ISO-14000 Environmental Management System.
  4. Permanent work authorization for Canada is required.
  5. Possession of a valid Canadian Driver's License.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  7. Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD, Oracle, and Manufacturing Systems.
  8. Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
  9. Experience with lean methodologies (5S, time studies, standard work, SMED, value stream mapping, problem-solving tools, TPM – Autonomous Maintenance, etc.).
  10. Reviewing daily production targets to identify gaps and implement improvements; tracking progress through visual charts and reporting.
  11. Managing daily production enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives.
  12. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement through team meetings, leader standard work, Gemba walks, and accountability boards.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in driving continuous improvement projects. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
