School & Counselling Psychology Faculty Position

The University of Saskatchewan's College of Education seeks a dedicated and accomplished School & Counselling Psychologist to join our esteemed Department of Educational Psychology & Special Education (EPSE).

About EPSE:
The EPSE Department is dedicated to advancing knowledge through scholarship, integration, application, and teaching. Our programs emphasize a developmental, strength-based approach that recognizes the unique needs of diverse children, youth, and adults within educational, family, and community settings.
Your Role:
As a School & Counselling Psychologist, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of education. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Delivering engaging graduate-level courses in our Master of Education program in School and Counselling Psychology (SCP).
- Contributing to the practical elements of the SCP program through the Counselling, Assessment, Intervention and Research Services (CAIRS) center.
- Conducting impactful research and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.
- Mentoring and supervising graduate students.
- Participating in departmental committees and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
We seek a highly qualified candidate with:
- A completed Doctorate Degree in Educational/School Psychology.
- Expertise and experience in psycho-educational assessment and intervention.
- Secondary areas of expertise may include counselling psychology, child and family counselling, school-based counselling, Indigenous counselling, and cross-cultural counselling.
- Eligibility for registration as a psychologist in Saskatchewan (or willingness to obtain licensure).
