About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor - Operations Leader will be responsible for leading and directing a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities and equipment at MillerKnoll. This role will play a critical part in maintaining the company's high standards for quality and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide guidance and oversight to maintenance staff to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently to meet company objectives.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee the maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure they are in good working order and meet company standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of maintenance professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other departments and teams to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with company objectives and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Analyze and resolve maintenance-related problems and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain reports and metrics to track maintenance performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field such as mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, with a strong background in facilities management and maintenance operations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance professionals. Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software systems.
