About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Aide to join our team at Caringpeople Healthcare Inc. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Help patients with mobility and transfer activities
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration
  • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in patient care or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including seniors, adults, and children
  • Knowledge of patient care principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
