Job Summary

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including mood, anxiety, and thought disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for patients with complex psychiatric needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting assessments, and implementing interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Participate in crisis management and de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of Michigan (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
