Job Description

Overview

Forest View Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients on our psychiatric unit, utilizing the nursing process to develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and deliver care to patients with co-occurring disorders, eating disorders, and trauma backgrounds.
  • Direct and participate in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
  • Assist with discharge planning and work with patients at time of discharge.
  • Provide leadership to other personnel in crisis behavioral management.

Qualifications

  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of Michigan (or eligible to receive or renew)
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
