Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and quality management systems
- Participate in business development and proposal preparation
- Coach and develop project team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Twenty years of relevant work experience
- Experience in managing medium to large EPCM and EPC projects in the mining or heavy industry sectors
- Experience managing preliminary studies
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and project control, procurement, and construction management teams
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
