About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Transmission and Distribution Lines team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing efficient and reliable transmission and distribution lines, as well as leading technical project teams and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop transmission and distribution line projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management
  • Lead technical project teams and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Prepare PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE models, design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines, and supervise inspection of existing lines
  • Support and supervise the quality of work of engineers, technicians, and drafters, and prepare proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience in transmission and distribution lines, with relevant structural experience
  • Technical writing skills and knowledge of the PLS-CADD suite
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, and bilingual (English and French)
