Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supervisor to join our Meat Packing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring that all production targets are met, and that the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 production staff, including process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and achieve production targets.
    • Monitor and control production processes to ensure that quality and safety standards are met.
  • Inventory Management
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, including metrics on quality, safety, and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
