Job Summary

Fast and Flow Logistics is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Load and unload goods
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Safety
    • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
    • Perform preventive maintenance
    • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Workplace and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
    • Physically demanding role requiring regular lifting, bending and standing
    • Ability to work overtime as required
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience an asset
