Position Overview

The Grocery Clerk Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the grocery department at SRF Grocery Store Ltd. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a team of grocery clerks, including apprentices and seasonal staff.
  • Task Assignment: Allocate duties to sales personnel to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Exhibit Management: Collaborate with exhibit designers to create engaging displays for promotional events and in-store presentations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering of merchandise and authorize returns as necessary.
  • Scheduling: Develop and implement work schedules for staff to optimize productivity.
  • Sales Management: Drive sales initiatives and prepare comprehensive reports on sales performance and staffing issues.
