Job Title: Baker

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Tasty Sweets and Restaurant Ltd. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality baked goods.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer standards.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Schedule staff to meet business needs.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a baking or food preparation role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
