Job Summary:

The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our convenience store and bakery, including daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, and manage staff and assign duties.
  • Market Research and Planning: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Staffing and Supervision: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, conduct performance reviews, and resolve issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Convenience store and bakery.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical, collaborative, efficiency, hardworking, positive attitude, proactive, time management, client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, team player, and ability to multitask.
