Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Green Prairie is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing and directing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care and grounds maintenance.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Maintain work records and logs, including tracking hours worked and materials used.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and small engine equipment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective work.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills.
