Job Title: Landscape Supervisor

Lawn 'N' Order is seeking a skilled Landscape Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff
  • Organize planting of trees, gardens, and lawns
  • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice
  • Schedule events, programs, and activities
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance
  • Plan and estimate labour and materials
  • Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Tender and administer contracts
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements:
  • Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification
  • Provincial licence/certification to apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Vehicle supplied by employer
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be required to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions, and maintain a high level of manual dexterity.
