About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Captiva Developer to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in aligning technology solutions with business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions to design, develop, test, and deploy code for C# APIs, Captiva framework definitions, and form creation for supporting indexing of business documents.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of business functions to resolve complex problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development of one or more highly complex business processes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in design and development with C#.
  • 3+ years of experience in API programming.
  • 1+ year of experience working with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) or Captiva applications or similar technology such as Kofax.
  • 3+ years of experience working in true Agile lab projects throughout the full SDLC cycle.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate and articulate requirements with Scrum Master, BSAs, other Developers, and Testers in agile labs daily.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Good understanding of DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline.
  • Experience in the Financial Industry.
  • Experience with ES6/TypeScript/NodeJS.
  • Experience programming with Python.
  • Experience developing REST services.
  • Experience with Swagger and openAPI.
