About the Role

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based applications using C# and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with stakeholders across various business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  2. Design and Develop Cloud-Based Applications: Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based applications using C# and AWS technologies.
  3. Resolve Complex Business Problems: Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve complex problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  4. Support Complex Business Processes: Support one or more highly complex business processes.
Requirements
  1. 10+ Years of Experience: Overall 10+ years of experience in software development.
  2. C# and API Programming: 4+ years of experience in design and development with C# and API programming.
  3. OCR and Captiva Experience: 4+ years of experience working with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) or Captiva applications or similar technology such as Kofax.
  4. Agile Development Experience: 5+ years' experience working in true Agile lab projects throughout the full SDLC cycle.
  5. Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate and articulate requirements with Scrum Master, BSAs, other Developers, and Testers in agile labs daily.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  1. DevOps Concepts: Good understanding of DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline.
  2. Financial Industry Experience: Experience in the Financial Industry.
  3. ES6/TypeScript/NodeJS Experience: Experience with ES6/TypeScript/NodeJS.
  4. Python Programming Experience: Experience programming with Python.
  5. REST Services Experience: Experience developing REST services.
  6. Swagger and OpenAPI Experience: Experience with Swagger and openAPI.
Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.
