About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at NuView Radiology and Ultrasound. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in diagnostic imaging.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography, preferably in abdominal and obstetrical sonography.
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
