About the Role
Our Building Services team is committed to executing both scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks across the SkyCity Hamilton premises. We are seeking a skilled facilities maintenance specialist to join our team, delivering exceptional and efficient maintenance services. In this position, you will ensure that SkyCity Hamilton adheres to all regulatory compliance requirements while maintaining all machinery and equipment to the highest standards.
About You:
- Experience in general building repairs, including minor construction tasks, plumbing, plastering, painting, and tiling, utilizing both hand tools and power tools.
- Background in machinery, equipment, and plant maintenance, including diagnostic assessments and the capability to recommend and implement suitable corrective measures.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Outlook.
- Willingness to be on call to support SkyCity's round-the-clock operations and availability for occasional after-hours work.
Given the nature of this role, maintaining a professional appearance is essential, as you will interact with guests throughout the property. You should possess strong communication skills, enabling you to engage with both internal and external stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner.
