Role Overview:
The Operations Cost Accountant will play a crucial role in collaborating with various teams to enhance data integration and accuracy across projects. This position involves:
  • Working closely with the Project Management team to facilitate project creation, monitor progress, and prepare detailed internal accounting reports for complex projects.
  • Partnering with Production Management to ensure accurate data forecasting and estimates.
  • Coordinating with the Procurement team to uphold data integrity and improve operational analytics.
  • Collaborating with the Finance team to guarantee precise data for financial reporting, while maintaining project schedules using tools like Solidworks and Genius.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, while reconciling actual costs against projections.
  • Providing in-depth data analysis to support initiatives across departments.
  • Contributing to plant inventory management, including cycle counts.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of data integration and financial reporting.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, production managers, and senior executives to meet financial goals and enhance operational efficiencies.

The ideal candidate is expected to reside locally or plan to relocate prior to commencing employment. This role is office-based, providing an opportunity to influence the future of mechanical and electrical systems within a supportive and secure work environment.
