Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated Registered Practical Nurses to join our team at a long-term care facility in Mississauga. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to residents, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to residents, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and personal hygiene assistance.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of resident care, observations, and interventions.
- Promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure clear understanding and coordinated care.
Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Minimum one year of recent experience working as an LPN in a long-term care setting.
- Strong clinical skills, knowledge of geriatric care principles, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
