Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in the daily management of the store, ensuring adherence to the core values and standards of Accoravillage. This position is responsible for providing leadership in sales and customer service, fostering a culture that reflects the brand's identity through exceptional service and effective visual merchandising techniques. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Retail Operations Supervisor oversees daily store functions, drives business performance, and nurtures team development through a balanced leadership approach.

Key Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a retail environment, with luxury retail experience being advantageous;
  • Proven leadership skills that focus on achieving results, developing talent, and enhancing customer satisfaction;
  • Demonstrated success in sales performance within a retail setting;
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities;
  • Experience in visual merchandising and planning;
  • A collaborative spirit while being self-driven;
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills;
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

The impact of this role includes:

  • Cultivating a customer-centric sales culture and fostering brand loyalty through in-depth product knowledge;
  • Assisting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets by implementing company standards and exceeding customer expectations through superior service;
  • Supporting the Store Manager in training new and existing staff on product knowledge and sales techniques;
  • Ensuring that the store and team members maintain the highest presentation standards in line with brand expectations, providing regular feedback to the Store Manager on performance improvement opportunities;
  • Coaching and motivating team members on customer service fundamentals and delivering constructive feedback;
  • Assisting in recruitment activities and onboarding of new hires;
  • Identifying and resolving issues promptly, utilizing feedback to develop alternative solutions and make informed decisions;
  • Overseeing and delegating tasks to optimize store operational efficiency;
  • Collaborating with the Store Manager on risk management, physical security, cash controls, and inventory management;
  • Performing and supervising store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the facility;
  • Ensuring visual merchandising directives are executed effectively and maintaining visual standards at all times;
  • Partnering with the Store Manager on daily operations to support a sales-driven environment while adhering to operational and loss prevention guidelines.
