About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at Progressive Concrete Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimal delays.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by removing rubble and debris, and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Material Mixing and Application: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires manual dexterity, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work in various weather conditions and may be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards associated with construction sites.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
