AIM Telecom Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
- Equipment Repair and Replacement: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
- Network Troubleshooting: Analyze test results and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete and maintain test and service reports.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be willing to travel and have a strong client focus.
