Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our MRI department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, assisting radiologists, and providing direction to student technologists and staff trainees.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Assist radiologists during procedures and provide input on patient-specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS.
- Provide direction and guidance to student technologists and staff trainees.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote a safe and effective work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program and a recognized program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligibility for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
