Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Continuing Care Assistant to work with our clients in their homes, providing personal care and support with daily living activities. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will work with clients to promote their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, such as grooming, dressing, and bathing
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Monitor and maintain household safety
  • Plan and prepare meals and light household duties
  • Provide respite care
Requirements:
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification (CCA)
  • PSW, HSW, etc. certification from another province or other relevant certification or work experience
  • Current CPR/First Aid required
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
