About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer and Project Manager to join our team at BBA inc. in Canada. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution Lines team, you will be responsible for managing high-voltage electrical substation projects from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high- and medium-voltage electrical substations in accordance with Hydro-Québec standards.
  • Prepare lists of materials, bills of materials, installation specifications, and layout drawings.
  • Perform or check calculations to size equipment and select appropriate power cable gauges.
  • Participate in site surveys and ensure coordination with managers from other disciplines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
  • University degree in engineering.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • More than five years of experience in electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec.
  • Very good knowledge of specialized software such as MPI, MCT, CPI, and Logesdes.
  • Knowledge of Hydro-Québec standards (GT, SN, TET, etc.).
