Infrastructure Investment Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Infrastructure team as an Associate / Senior Associate. This role will be based in Sydney and will be part of a team primarily covering infrastructure in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, and may also be involved in investments in other regions working as part of our global Infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior team members in evaluating potential infrastructure investment opportunities, conducting research, developing recommendations, participating in the negotiation and execution of investments, and monitoring and managing investments.
- Review and analyze a variety of Asia Pacific and global infrastructure investment opportunities, including researching and evaluating potential investment opportunities, building complex dynamic financial models, and performing due diligence on opportunities.
- Develop Infrastructure investment recommendations outlining potential investment opportunities, work with the team to develop investment thesis and evaluation of risks, and assist in presenting investment recommendations to investment committees.
- Assist with the overall execution of Asia Pacific and global infrastructure investments, manage discreet aspects / workstreams of the execution of Infrastructure investments, and liaise with investment partners and advisors.
- Monitor ongoing financial and operational performance of Infrastructure investments, including working with senior management teams on strategic business initiatives, and assist in performing valuations for existing Infrastructure investments.
- 2-4 (Associate) / 5-8 (Senior Associate) years' experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting or other relevant areas with an emphasis in infrastructure investments desirable.
