Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Provider to offer essential support to clients in their homes. This role involves providing both physical and emotional assistance to enhance the quality of life for individuals requiring personal care.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Optional accommodation is available at no cost on a live-in basis, though this is not a condition of employment.
  • Room and board will be provided.
  • Work will primarily take place in the employer's or client's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Launder clothing and household linens as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Cook meals as required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
