Job Title: Director, Marketing & Communications (Bilingual)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Marketing & Communications to develop and execute integrated, multi-channel brand, marketing, communications and public relations strategies that reach diverse, young aspiring entrepreneurs across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the organization's brand, communications and marketing strategies, creating executable plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee and support the team with annual marketing planning activities in collaboration with the VP Business Development and regional leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Programs and Partnerships teams on partnership development, fundraising and new program roll-out.
  • Actively promote Futurpreneur Canada brand awareness to build a stronger organizational reputation locally, regionally and nationally.
  • Integrate digital marketing and social media strategies into all marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategies for new and existing national-level offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to establish a measurement and evaluation framework for marketing and communications.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing and communications programs.
  • English and French fluency is required.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing all forms of digital and traditional marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of marketing and customer relations management platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite is an asset.
  • Experience working in the not-for-profit sector is an asset.
