Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to clients in a comfortable home environment. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring personal care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Term: Temporary
  • Languages: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking household
  • Work Setting: Room and board provided in a rural setting, working within the employer's or client's residence
Essential Duties:
  • Assist clients with their personal hygiene needs
  • Manage laundry for clothing and household linens
  • Perform light cleaning and housekeeping tasks
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Shop for groceries and household necessities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook meals as required
Required Certifications:
  • CPR Certification
  • Certificate of Conduct
  • First Aid Certification
  • Health Care Aide Certification
Target Audience:

Focus on providing care for adults, particularly females.

Experience Requirements:

Prior experience in a teaching or caregiving capacity is beneficial.

Safety and Security:

All candidates must undergo a criminal record check.
