Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Solutions Designer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Establishing technical direction and strategies for comprehensive solution and infrastructure design, while influencing target architectures.
  2. Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders in various business improvement projects.
  3. Conducting analysis, investigation, design, development, and coordination of specific business and infrastructure solutions.
  4. Leading the creation of Logical and Physical design documentation, including project planning and execution.
  5. Evaluating and recommending technologies and best practices for infrastructure solutions.
  6. Engaging in the procurement process for solutions/infrastructure and identifying necessary resources for implementation and support.

This role will emphasize Information Management to enhance Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, and Data Science, focusing on data management, database development, data lakehouse, and data warehouse design, ETL/ELT development, report generation, and related technologies.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  1. Experience with business systems lifecycle and process modeling, including requirements and data analysis, design techniques, and systems development methodologies.
  2. Proficiency in cloud concepts relevant to data warehousing.
  3. Knowledge of data lakehouse and data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and data quality assurance methodologies.
  4. Extensive experience in building analytics solutions using cloud technologies.
  5. Experience in developing near real-time event streaming pipelines.
  6. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Scala, along with SQL scripting skills.
  7. Ability to apply Business Intelligence concepts for metadata modeling.
  8. Knowledge of data management practices and methodologies.
  9. Experience with DevOps/DataOps and container technologies.

Leadership and Project Management Skills:

  1. Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
  2. Strong communication and presentation skills.
