Position Summary:

The Regional Technician will play a vital role in the installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of Certarus equipment at our CNG filling stations and client locations. This role reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and is essential in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing comprehensive technical assistance to both the company and our clientele.

Work Schedule:

  • Fixed shift schedule that allows for daily home return
  • Possible travel outside the designated region
  • Night shifts required to support operational needs
  • 8 shifts on followed by 6 days off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support overall plant and fleet operations in the region, contributing to a safe work environment
  • Provide mechanical and technical services for process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and client sites
  • Setup and dismantle pressure reduction equipment at customer locations
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and governmental safety and regulatory standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical field role
  • Preference for candidates with a technical diploma, journeyman designation, or 4th Class Power/Operating Engineer certificate
  • Experience in troubleshooting regulators, valves, instrumentation, electrical systems, and compression is advantageous, as is familiarity with gas processing equipment
  • Possess a positive attitude along with excellent communication and customer service skills
