Job Summary

S & S GORAYA LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service by being professional and courteous at all times.

Vehicle Maintenance

Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Cargo Security

Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and inspecting it regularly.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement are required.

Documentation Knowledge

Familiarity with accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report, maintenance and repair reports, and trans-border documentation.

Communication Systems

Experience with GPS and other navigation equipment.

Transportation Experience

Local, long-haul, national, provincial/territorial, and short-haul transportation experience.
