Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Package Handling: Prepare, package, and restock goods, as well as load and unload packages from vehicles.
  • Logistics and Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes and schedules, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during delivery.
  • Financial Transactions: Process payments for goods and services, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Driving Record: A clean driving record is essential.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance is required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
