About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Fine Finish Painting and Renovations Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties remain in excellent condition.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate the work to ensure timely completion.
  • Client Communication: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide expert advice on painting and decorating techniques.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure our clients' properties are finished to the highest standard.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be working at heights, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the painting and decorating industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
