About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Zee Liquor Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Stock and Merchandise: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain a visually appealing store display, and ensure that all products are properly priced and labeled.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure that the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained, and that all equipment and fixtures are in good working order.
  • Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Familiarity with electronic cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
