Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Admin Assistant to join our Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness Department at North York General Hospital. As an integral part of our team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness Team, including reception/public relations functions, database management, and policy maintenance.
- Assist with organizing conferences and meetings, including accommodation, catering, and travel arrangements.
- Ensure confidentiality of telephone communications and office files.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, including minutes taking and clerical assistance.
Requirements:
- College Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years relevant administrative assistant experience preferred.
- Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills.
- Knowledge of computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Working knowledge of Individual and Team environments.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology.
- Understanding of general Occupational Health and Safety policies/legislation and how they relate to employees.
