Job Title: Physiotherapist II, Oncology

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist II to join our team in the Oncology department. As a Physiotherapist II, you will be responsible for providing advanced physiotherapy services to patients with cancer, focusing on promoting physical function, fitness, and motor performance to enhance their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide advanced physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and education, to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans to inform future care and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in education and research activities to stay current with best practices and advance the field of oncology physiotherapy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology physiotherapy, with a focus on advanced practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current research in oncology physiotherapy.
