Job Title: General Manager - Hospitality

At Otter Co-op, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Highwayman Pub team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall food and beverage service operations of the pub, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen and server staff to achieve high standards of performance.
  • Develop and implement menus, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a General Manager or senior management role in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-performing teams and driving sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, liquor licensing laws, and company policies.
