About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to join our team at LHR Global - Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across various markets and industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business ideas and assess their feasibility through thorough market research and analysis.
  • Develop and articulate a compelling business case for pursuing identified opportunities, incorporating factors such as alignment with our business strategy, market trends, and risk mitigation.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to stay informed about current and emerging business trends.
  • Lead and conduct desktop market research to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Develop and review business plans and financial models to ensure they meet our organization's standards.
  • Produce thought leadership reports that provide strategic insights and analysis on companies, industries, and sectors.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to develop business plans for new business opportunities.
  • Continuously review and enhance our business origination process to ensure it remains best-in-class.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in business development, with exposure to multiple industries.
  • Broad industry experience, including oil and gas, technology, professional services, real estate, and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of venturing activities, such as commercialization, spin-offs, or joint venturing, project development.
  • Strong finance background, including experience in financial valuations and modeling.
  • Background in strategy development or relevant experience.
  • Experience with developing deal strategy and market positioning.
  • Strong analytical ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience with market intelligence platforms, analytics, and reports.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • A track record of originating transactions that resulted in successful deals.
