Candidate Profile: Our client is in search of a supervisor to join their Drilling & Workover department, responsible for overseeing the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs engaged in scheduled tasks.

Essential Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience in drilling and workover operations, including significant supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
  2. Completion of ITC: English, ERW, Math, MI with 13 years of relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, typically acquired through progression on a drilling or workover rig.
  3. Willingness to reside in remote locations within mobile camps.
Core Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and manage all operations conducted on our wells.
  2. Provide recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when faced with unusual circumstances.
  3. Coordinate the delivery of materials to the well to ensure availability as needed.
  4. Ensure that the contractor fulfills all contractual obligations.
  5. Collaborate with Drilling and Workover engineers to ensure adherence to modern drilling practices.
  6. Approve the contractor's daily tour report.
  7. Ensure proper maintenance of contractor rig and equipment to prevent downtime.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
  9. Ensure compliance with blowout prevention standards, including equipment configuration, testing, and crew response.
  10. Guarantee that rig and personnel adhere to established safety standards and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
  1. Competitive Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar expertise.
  2. Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.
  3. Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing with years of service.
  4. Severance Package (2-year vesting period) – based on years of service.

  6. Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – maximum purchase equal to 10% of monthly base pay.
