Position Overview:
As a Life Insurance Operations Specialist, you will be expected to possess a deep understanding of insurance and living benefits products, practices, and processes.

Role Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager within the Wealth Management division, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with advisors in the development and management of their client portfolios.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist advisors in fulfilling all service model actions for clients, covering pre-sale, issuance, and post-issue modifications.
- Support advisors in placing new business effectively.
- Prepare underwriting requirements for advisors, managing the underwriting process through to completion.
- Draft new insurance contracts for client distribution.
- Maintain and input data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system - EPIC platform.
- Address any post-issue policy change requests from clients, including beneficiary changes, face amount adjustments, disbursements, and death claims.
- Respond promptly to advisor inquiries and concerns.
- Manage client resolutions, including complaint handling and error correction.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with advisors and internal teams while ensuring confidentiality.
- Provide support and backup for fellow Life Insurance Coordinators.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Insurance Industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Life insurance and Living benefits products.
- Experience with insurance carrier products and illustration software.
- Familiarity with insurance carrier application procedures.
- A University Degree or College Diploma is preferred.
- Possession of an Individual Agent License (LLQP) is an asset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong prioritization skills, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
- Client confidentiality is paramount.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
- This position is subject to background checks, including credential, employment, credit, criminal, and reference checks.
