Your Responsibilities:

The Assistant Site Superintendent plays a crucial role in supporting the Site Superintendent by ensuring effective processes and timely execution of site programs to meet development objectives.

Key Duties Include:

  1. Planning and reviewing project specifications;
  2. Assisting in the creation of construction schedules and site management strategies;
  3. Overseeing site setup, including enclosures, offices, access, and utilities;
  4. Monitoring and implementing measures to maintain project timelines;
  5. Ensuring adherence to good housekeeping practices and site management protocols;
  6. Enforcing site safety standards for all personnel throughout the construction process;
  7. Coordinating activities among various trades and suppliers;
  8. Maintaining detailed daily logs and facilitating effective site meetings;
  9. Implementing quality control measures through established standards and mock-ups;
  10. Ensuring accuracy and quality in all in-suite finishes and upgrades;
  11. Verifying the accuracy of trade progress certificates;
  12. Ensuring trades maintain updated 'As Built' documentation and warranty programs;
  13. Coordinating with governing authorities and consultants to secure occupancy permits;
  14. Facilitating the commissioning of equipment with trades and consultants in a timely manner;

Qualifications:

  1. 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  2. Experience in mid-rise residential construction projects (5-6 story buildings preferred)
  3. Strong communication skills (listening and verbal)
  4. Excellent interpersonal abilities
  5. Dependable and reliable
  6. Adaptable and flexible
  7. Effective time management skills
  8. Strong organizational capabilities
  9. Attention to detail
